    Scot Pollard is a retired American professional basketball player who played for the NBA for 11 seasons. He is well known for his role in the 1997 NCAA Championship winning team of Kansas Jayhawks. During his playing career, Pollard was known for his aggressive style of play and his ability to protect the paint. He played for several teams in the NBA including the Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, and Cleveland Cavaliers.     Scot Pollard’s Biography

    Scot Pollard was born on October 30, 1974 in Carmel, Indiana. He attended Carmel High School and was a star player of the school’s basketball team. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Kansas where he was part of the 1997 NCAA Championship winning team. After college, Pollard was selected 19th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 1997 NBA draft.

    Pollard has always had a passion for basketball. He began playing basketball when he was in elementary school and was a star player for Carmel High School. During his time at Carmel High School, Pollard was named first team All-State and was also named Indiana’s Mr. Basketball. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Kansas where he was part of the 1997 NCAA Championship winning team.

    Career and Professional Life

    Pollard was selected 19th overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 1997 NBA draft. He played for the Pistons for two seasons before being traded to the Boston Celtics. During his time with the Celtics, Pollard was part of a team that made it to the Eastern Conference Finals. He also played for the Sacramento Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Indiana Pacers during his 11-year career in the NBA.

    After his retirement from the NBA, Pollard became a sports analyst and is currently working as an analyst for Fox Sports. He also works as a basketball coach and has coached several high school teams.

    In addition to his successful career in the NBA, Pollard is also an avid golfer and has competed in several tournaments. He is married and has three children. Pollard is also an active philanthropist and has been involved in several charity events. He is also active on social media and has a large following on Instagram.
